The function of the CLO is to be a strategic Partner contributing to the Legal aspect of the company and to review and assess contract data for consistency throughout the company and articulating all legal needs and plans to the executive management team.  The Chief Legal Officer is responsible for effectively managing and directing the legal aspects and documentation of the company.  This role is responsible for evaluating and analyzing the legal needs and gaps of the company and reporting those findings to the CEO.
